if beer goes up to 4 pound a pint if you and your mates are going out it would work out cheaper to do a block booking on the euro tunnel or even getting a cheep flight to Spain or France and having a couple of days drinking over there and fetching the following weeks supply back aving a party the week after with the beer you've fetched back and going away the following week and so on and so on this country is pathetic

We are suffereing here too because of the economic failures of this administration here and the weak dollar and the shortage of hops...beer is rediculous now...you would be better of drinking rum.
Did you know about the hop shortage..in Europe the crops were bad and we cant import due to the idiot at the fed reserve (and the idiot spending blillions on the war) and the weak dollar.
wow, time to move i would say, here you can get yourself a nice crate full of bottles of Heineken , amster or even grolsch and still have some change left to by some nuts to go with it LOL

Nothing horrible.
If you get used to drink a pint every day you will drink it even for 4 pounds. If it will calm you down there are places where beer is more expensive. For example, Russia, Saint-Petersburg - We have Guinness for 4-6 pounds per pint.
