Is Corona and Pure Blonde girls' drinks?!
As with most imported beers, they’re nothing like the original sold in their native countries. In the foreign countries that I’ve not visited, but have friends, they all mock us Americans for heralding some imported beer as something special when it is in fact a rank beer.
Pure Blonde… It’s a low carbohydrate beer. It’s a woman’s beer as well as light beer. Only some moronic vain person would be so concerned with carbohydrates, in other words, a woman! “Oh, I can’t drink that beer! It’s got x grams of carbs! I’m already fat, but it will make me fatter. Give me one of those ultra light Michelobs…” Dear God woman, yes it has less carbs, but it has more calories. It’s your caloric intake that’s making you fat! You consume 3,000 – 4,000 calories a day, but only burn 2,000!
Pure Blonde is a beer aimed at American women. Corona is aimed at myopic Americans that haven’t ever been abroad.
Answers: To answer the question, Corona is a beer that Americans drink to give them the illusion that they're sophisticated. It’s a novelty beer, vogue, cool, and the like. Both sexes seem to drink it, so I would not consider it a man’s or a woman’s drink.

I know lots of very feminine women who like Corona. I never heard of "Pure Blonde" but assigning gender characteristics to drinks always seemed absurd to me. Drink what feels good on the tongue!
If Corona's are 'girly' drinks a lot of men have some answering to do to their girfriends/wives!
Pure Blonde is aimed at women more, especially since Paris Hilton was the face of it in Australia when it was launched. There's more 'manly' low carb beers, such as Carlton LJ and Hahn Super Dry, kind of like Coke Zero is for men as opposed to Diet Coke for women!
I think the reason people think Corona is a woman's beer is because it comes with a lime and women like the lime garnish on the bottle.
In fact all beer tastes good with a lime, but the only reason you see a lime associated with Corona is because that is how they kept the flies off the bottles way back when when it was first brewed.
