there is a test that can detect some chemicals created when the body metabolizes alcohol, but, from 1 shot, the levels would most likely be so low that it would not qualify it as having had a drink
One shot should be completely processed by the liver within 2 hours. In three days there should be no trace.
well the old saying is a drink an hour that is what the body can burn off. so you if you can do the math from there.
A regular UA is not to check for alcohol. It detects infection, dehydration, etc. A urine alcohol test would detect the liquor. So, if it's just a UA, don't worry. If it's an alcohol urine test and it's the EtG one, it detects alcohol up to 80 hours. Hope that was helpful!
