Would this plan work to get buy alcohol???!

Question:

Would this plan work to get buy alcohol???

I am 19 and 6-1, 250 pounds. I have a beard. I have a drivers lisence that i found on the ground and the DOB is 1985. I was thinking that i could hold the my id and the other one on the bottom as i show the employee at the counter. I could put my finger over my birthday on the front, then show him the DOB on the back, which is actually the other ID that has 1985 as the birthday??? Do they grab it or let you show them?

I'm a manager in retail...we always have the customer take the ID out of their wallet ... People are fired immediately for selling to a minor...so unless u go to some out of the way party store..you probly won't have much luck..and also if you have your friends with you ...a cashier is always entitled to ask everyone with the purchaser of alcohol for their ID..so if their underage your screwed there too

yeah don't risk it, they usually grab it and hold it until your done paying

I'm with the gal. I answered your other question. Don't try this. They usually take the ID from you, and read it. No way your pulling this one off unless your a sleight-of-hand expert.

they grab it. They do this so many times a day, they know all the tricks.

ID's are usually taken and examined. Some companies requre checks on all the markings, lack of markings, smoothness, colors and fonts.

Why don't you just give the resident town drunk a small bottle of the cheapest liqour as a reward and let him purchase your alcohol

its a big risk doing it that way, your better of just getting someone else to bye it for you, they do grab it most of the time so they can get a good look at it, and if you just show them the date of birth on the back they will think something is up and will ask to have a better look, with that you all so have the chance of the police been called on you. its your chose in the end but it wouldnt be a wise move. good luck if you do use it as I.D

i know who you are and reporting you to local authorities for investigative follow up

In reply to "Are we using our brains today" and anyone else who is telling you that you shouldn't be buying alcohol:

I am infuriated by the USA's drinking age policy. Nowhere else in the WORLD are you, at 19, too much of a child to buy a drink in a bar, and yet at the same time enough of a man to be sent off to Irak (or whatever country the US is fighting at the time) to KILL other human beings. It's a disgrace. If they're going to say that you can't drink until you're 21, then at LEAST they should be consistent with the age at which one is supposed to be considered an adult for other matters. In most countries in the world, drinking age is 18 or 19 (and that age is consistent with everything else, such as voting, being tried as an adult when a crime is committed, etc. etc. etc.). Honestly, in your shoes I would not care about senseless and absurd laws that contradict each other.

THAT BEING SAID, I do agree with others here in that what you're suggesting probably won't work. The best way would be to try to get someone who is 21 to buy the drinks for you, and DON'T accompany them when making the purchase, as you'll probably get carded too.

GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR BEER! :)

just show them the id they usually just look at the birthday and never the picture and if they do they will just glance dont worry about it its a risk you must take for a good weekend LOL! whats the worst that can happend they will just take up the id!

Just go into a small little gas station or liqour shop with some silly foriegner sitting in there and show them the fake one. chances are it will work, assuming you look similiar to the guy in the found ID. Then just go to that guy all the time. If he says that isn't you get the ID and just leave, live to try another day at another store.

My buddy used to buy us beer when he was 16,you know one of those big guys with hair all over, he just didn't shave for a few days and went in an bought it, no id or nothing, just a crazy beard!!!
