Do we add water in wine?!


Question: The other day, I was having 'sake' for the first time and said, if I could add water and then somebody told me that you don't add water wine..
is that true? and why do? Do you add water in beer?

I think your question is about SAKE...not wine. Yes you do add water when making SAKE. Here is a good website.
Now for regular wines whites and reds no you don't add water.

no dont add water to wine it will ruin the wine

The Romans used to dilute their wine with water. It is not done nowadays. I have never heard of water being added to beer once it was finished brewing. If you ever did it to one of my homebrews, you would never be invited again.
