If someone served me a drink that had food coloring put in right before me, I would cringe, but nevertheless it is the right answer. An alternative is to add a splash of low-proof blue curacao liqueur. It'll turn the drink bluish and is the blue ingredient in most blue colored cocktail drinks.
Just use foodcoloring from the baking department of your supermarket. It's practically tasteless.

You can use the obvious choice - blue dye. I would however would go with the much more fun hallucination causing mushroom. No dyes necessary, but your drink will turn blue, green, hell...any color you want
