Which alcoholic drink did he give me?
My bf and I shared some alcohol today but neither of us know what it actually was since we dont normally drink the stuff.
Its colour was perfectly clear like water and it tasted a bit like throat medicine and was bitter. It had to be diluted before drinking and we felt a slight burning sensation after swallowing it. Any clues as to what it was?????

No idea as there are many drinks that are colourless including, of course, vodka, ouzo which is aniseed based is also colourless until you add water to it and it becomes cloudy. You really ought to ask the person that gave you the drink

Did it go milky when you added the water?
If so, then it is an aniseed based liquor.
Perhaps you should check in advance in future - was there no label on the container?

It could be any number of things such as,
GIN
SAKI
VODKA
ZAMBUCCA
ETHANOL

Could be vodka or gin. If you are asking this I don't think you are old enough to drink.
vodka probably, why dont you know what it is? did it not come in a bottle or did someone give it to you without explaination?
Could be pernod, vodka or gin. Didnt it say what it was on the bottle? I would becareful drinking alcohol when you dont even know what it is!! You could poison yourselves!

Sambuca , aniseed type of taste , many makers :::::::::to have correctly , coffee beans floating , then set alight (blow out prior to drinking)
It might have been Poitin(Poteen) which is a Irish spirit which has a kick to it and is my drink of choice!

Vodka ( more than likely this one...)
Ouzo which tastes like licorice.
Bacardi rum.
white sambuca which is very similar to ouzo...

A number of liquors are clear, and they all taste like crap. Ouzo was mentioned earlier but isn't as common as local high alcohol drinks such as vodka, tequila, and gin.
Whatever it was you can bet that it isn't something that should be abused, which is what happened if you consumed it without knowing what it was. Addiction to these substances is not fun, and it is not funny, either.
You didn't mention your age, but if neither of you knew what it was, that in itself says that it was purchased by someone else.
Number one, anyone under the legal drinking age needs to put the brakes on it, and number two, you should NEVER consume anything if you do not know what it is, especially mind altering substances.
