Will drinking from a straw making me drunk faster??!

Question:

Will drinking from a straw making me drunk faster??

Answers:
Looks like you have already had a few "straw" drinks. "Making me drunk"?
Anyway, I have never tried it because I get drunk enough without a straw. I think it's supposed to add extra air or something, which may get you high faster.
Let's see what others say.

Nope.

I have no idea if it has been tested,
but i think it does..

i dont think so drinking regularly or from a straw ull get drunk either way so it doesnt really matter

no not at tall that is a myth and you will get drunk from drinking out of a bottle

Absolutely. But why would you want to?

I can't say that it does for sure but I know it works faster for me. Probably because I usually have ice in my drink and when I sip w/o a straw i'm not getting as much liquid. With the straw I think we take in more liquor with each sip.

no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

If you are talking about beer, yes it will. The straw cuts out the extra oxygen and that goes to your head faster... be careful not to poke yourself in the eye w/ it though

yes, but why wouod you want to get drunker faster?

Only if you drink faster through a straw than you do without one.

No as long as you're ingesting the same amount of alcohol as you would without the straw. It WILL keep your teeth cleaner because the drinks aren't hitting the front of your mouth.

Weight, age, gender, and the amount of food you have eaten recently are the only things that will affect your tolerance.

They say it does because the alcohol settles to the bottom, and when you drink through the straw that is what you are drinking first. I really don't know, I haven't tried it.

It's not that it gets you "drunker" but when you drink through a straw you tend to drink it faster so in turn you catch the buzz a little quicker!!

uhhh.. Ya i think it should because when you drink through a straw you dont miss. I mean like it goes down faster ya know!

Persons who drink beer with a straw are possibly already drunk, obiter dictum. It is indeed correct that when you drink beer with a straw you get drunk faster compared to when you drink beer in a regular way. When creating a vacuum while sucking on the straw, the boiling point of alcohol drops (in normal circumstances 79 degrees Centigrade) and alcohol vapours are created in the straw. These vapours are inhaled in the lungs, and via that way the alcohol gets into the blood much faster than the alcohol that ends up in the stomach by drinking it the normal way.
Moreover, beer gets into the mouth by means of a straw in very narrow jets, as a result of which it has a larger surface in the oral cavity. As a result of this more alcohol can evaporate before it is swallowed. The palate (with a loot of blood circulation inside) already absorbs part of the alcohol vapours. Also this is a shorter way for the alcohol to get into the blood and to make you drunk faster.
When drinking the same amount of beer the effects on one’s health remain the same whether you drink the beer in a normal way or with a straw, provided that one gets drunk faster when drinking with a straw. The total amount of alcohol does not change.

Have a good day!

lol

No it won't and whoever told you it would was, to be blunt, a misinformed moron. They're too stupid to be in your circle of friends. Cut the moron off and look into people who can tie their own shoe laces.

At least YOU had the brain power to do some research.

The "friend" who told you using a straw would make you drunk faster is clearly the possessor of a sub-human intellect.

mabey.....

Complete urban myth. The only way that drinking from a straw will get you drunk faster is if it somehow increase the rate at which you consume the beverage. I'm quite sure that you can chug whatever beverage is in question much quicker than you could drink it through a straw. Anyone spouting off alcohol vapors or lack of oxygen to the head is talking directly out of their rectum.

No, just make you taste the alcohol instead of the mix drink

My personal experience has been that when you drink with a straw it goes down faster because you avoid the ice in the drink. I tend to get drunk faster with a straw-it just goes down easier
