What you think is the best pilsen type beer in the whole world?!
Answers: When I visited Prague, the "Pilsener Urquell" and "Staropramen" beers were excellent, but the import versions we get here in the USA don't seem to match the quality, alas.
whatever one is going down my neck at the time.
I agree with "Berry K", about the Czech "Pilsner Urquell", now I am not a fan but one of the few done in North America is one from here in Canada, Labatt's Blue is a true Pilsner brewed beer, it is like lager and top fermented.
There are a few German one but it is the yeast, hops, cold brewed recipe and the beer is cold stored and filtered 25 feet below ground in Prague, the cask are over 300 yrs old, and I even drank it when I worked in Singapore back in the 1980's.
Mine is a German one called Bitburger. I think only Adnams pubs have it on draft, but you can buy it at Majestic in bottles by the case.
