What are the limits on bringing beer to the UK from France?!

Question: There are no limits if the beer is or your own consumption.

If you bring back more than 110 litres of beer per person the customs may talk to you to decide if you intend to sell them. Have evidence you are stocking for a wedding or etc.

Bring in more than --

"3200 cigarettes, 200 cigars, 400 cigarillos, 3kg tobacco, 110 litres of beer, 90 litres of wine, 10 litres of spirits, 20 litres of fortified wine (such as port or sherry)."

and Customs will be checking you.

Nothing with flowers or twigs in it!

There aren't any now,you can bring as much as you want as long as its for your own consumption, same with ciggies.

They had to stop the limits because we are all in the EU they were breaking the rules by limiting us.

well it has to be for personal use.. so obviously within reason.

they might ask you to prove it .e.g. if you say it's for a party.. and u say it's for 200... and each person there would have to drink 50 cans etc..lol

within reason.. they normally look for sparks coming off the car exhaust due to it being over loaded ;-)

as for cigs I heard it's about 3000 a person.

110 litres if you are 18 or over

I don't think there is a limit but you have to prove its for your own consumption and not to sell to anyone else ,same with cigarettes

You have to be 17 to bring it back and there are no limits as long as it is an amount that is plausable for personal consumption.

If you have more than the limit and get asked why......just say it's for your bothers wedding ;)

Worked for a friend of mine

they say as much as you want for your own consumption but dont bother cause they will take your vehicle and beer till you prove its just for yourself what will be very hard thats why the beer runs stopped i used to do them till they got me
