Suggest a $15-25 bottle of wine to buy a case of and cellar for a few years?!

Question:

Suggest a $15-25 bottle of wine to buy a case of and cellar for a few years?

Presume red, and either cab, zin, or merlot-not particularly picky as to region or vintage if it's available now and will store well. Suggestions?

Answers:
French and Italian wines are the best bets for ageing, regardless of price.
Look for French Bordeaux Cru Bourgois like Ch. Greysac, Larose Trintaudon or Ch. Meyney...all good for 10 years.
Italian Tuscan wines are good as well: Barco Reale di Carmignano, Chianti Classico Riservas, etc.
California and Aussie lower-priced wines are safer when drunk at release. Zins can be very difficult due to very high alcohol levels. They tend to dry out and leave little charm over a few years (Ridge excluded!).

That's such a wide open question it'd be hard to fully answer. But a couple of immediate thoughts:

Any Ridge zin that you can find in the price range ("Lytton Springs" but that might be a hair over your limit)

An Australian syrah like the Limelight Syrah or Burra Burra Lone Star Shiraz or Wynns Michael Shiraz

How about French? Something like the Haut Bergey 2005 might be a stretch but worth hanging on to! Or the Terre Du Lion 2000 St Julien.

Cheapskates delight: Henry's Drive 2005 Pillar Box Red (I can get this at $8 locally!)
