Is Red or White Wine better?!

Question: It's really a matter of personal taste - I love reds because the tend to be less sweet, plus I just the flavor of reds better. I would also pick red grapes over white grapes any time! oh - and red wine is better for your health, so I like that too!

It you're not a big wine drinker i'd go with white.

Yes

It's completely subjective though it's not uncommon for people to pair either to certain things, ie red wine with dinners with dark meats, white with lighter meals/flavors.

Think of it as if someone asked you if coke was better than sprite.

It depends on personal preference. There are so many types of each too. There are dry and sweet wines in both the reds and the whites. I can enjoy both, but prefer white because I prefer my wine chilled. Red wine is served at room temperature. White wines are served cold.

red is more adventurous, white is mellow
go for the red but lay of the beer

If you don't like a heavy after taste stay with a white wine as the darker has a heavier body and thus a lot lingering on the taste buds I personally like a white as it is alot smoother with no after taste

If you are having it with a meal, red wine goes with meat and white wine goes with fish and chicken or vegetarian meals.

White wine, in my opinion is so much nicer, and the hangovers aren't as bad =]

White wine is smoother but red is the one with the most heart benefits.

It's not a matter of which is better. Red tends to be more full bodied and earthy. Most people would say it goes well with beef or a meat based pasta dish. White wine tends to be lighter. Most people believe it is good with fish and poultry.

1st rule: Drink what you like.

2nd rule: Pair your wine with your food.

3rd rule: There are no rules.

.

That's a completely personal choice, Which do you prefer?....

i dont really like wine at all but i prefer white wine if i'm going to drink any of it.
