my point is iam on city water,there is tons of agriculture spraying etc for grapes all that stuff seeps into the ground and goes into our water,also pipes that the water runs through are nasty and they are coroted especially in old houses

I get in arguements with my

well, i dont drink tap water.. In my opinion, I think it;'s not clean.. plus in some states & countries tap water is known not being clean..

yes, if you are in a public building its clean, it must be. If you have a deep well at your house chances are its clean. kinda depends on where you live too. You can get water tested to make sure if you worried. I wouldn't think twice about drinking the tap.

Haha, yeah sometimes, when I can't be bothered to filter it first. In some countries it's not safe but in most western world countries it is perfectly safe. If ur worried then either buy a filter jug or boil it first, simple as that, love.

Food and water purity IS important. Also, I don't like the chlorine taste.
We use the water filter the Red Cross has used. It's called British Berkefeld. We own the Berkey Light - it sits on the bathroom countertop and requires no electricity. (so we have the Berkey standard without the LED part). We just buy a glass milk jug and when it's used, we wash it and use it to refill and keep in the fridge so it's nice & cold. We used to buy bottled water, but you can also get a Lexan bottle from Target and freeze some of the water in the bottom and top it off in the a.m. so you have cold water to go when you run errands.

We're fussy about food too, and prefer organics.
I haven't drank tap water for awhile now....botlled water for me...the water around my area smells like sewer....i don't even cook with it.
I have always grown up drinking tap well water in Sun Prairie, WI. In fact, anythign oterh than this tap water tastes gross to me. Nearby madison has high levels of manganese in the public water system, which is rumored to be unhealty Milwaukee, which is close, draws its water from lake Michigan and they have cryptospiridium outbreaks from bird poo in the water entering their public water system.
Personally, I trust my tap well water more because I can have it tested and see the results. You have to trust the city on their water quality level.
Bottled water is a whole different animal. Some companies advertise how much they filter it, to me without actually seeing the conditions in which it is bottled, I would stick with drinking my own tap water.
It depends where you are. Up here in the frozen north the water is crisp and clean and full of a daily dose of vitamins. The green colour is just from the vegetable fortification they put in it... don't believe those chlorine rumours!

You can drink BUT you have to see what country like for example Singapore tap's water are safe for drinking..Anyway you get all ya water from tap too ain it?Well its quite normal as humans are paranoid and sensitive,imaginative so sometimes they think it werent clean..For as countires like Thailand and other in their hotel there will be a Notice there that water are not treated therefore not safe for drinking
well do you know where your water is from find that out and you will know for sue wether its drinkable, but your water is probably drinkable ( do you clean your teeth with it nd wash your clothes nd shower all these things would affect you if it isnt drinkable) otherwise you should know about it
Most of the people I know drink bottled mineral water.... but tests have shown that the tap water in the city where i live is just as good as tap water. I must say that occasionally there is a chlorine taste in the water (but never as bad as water in Miami) but that is rare. It's water from the tap for me.
I think this depends on were you live. I have been places mostly rural communities were people don't mind drinking tap water but in most big city every one seems to drink bottled water. I think it is very normal to not trust tap water If you don't trust or even know you water source.

No i dont..It tastes like shi*t..Some towns and have better water but my town and around my town it tastes awful. I stick with bottled water...

I drink tap water every morning and night. During the day at work I drink bottled water.
I dont drink tap water there is too much chemicals in it, i usually drink water from a tank but when that ran out once i had to drink tap water and i actually got sick from it so we had to buy water now we just have a water purifier
