Would you compromise buying a certain quality (price point) bottle of wine if the economy dictates it ?!

Question: For the most part wine is classified by the $$ as to the quality.
For those who enjoy the experiance from the approach to the finish...will you compromise that experiance by buying "plunk wine "instead ? Or will you make consession by putting down the extra dollars and treating the overall experiance as a sort of getaway for the senses?

I would just have to adjust my expectations.
I'd continue to buy like I do - Good wines at good values and expensive wines that are worth it because of quality.

Well now there is a certain point where wine drops below the radar and becomes a "fruit cocktail" drink, so I doubt I could/would go that low, but I've found some decent table wines that are a very decent price.
If I had to drop to the cheap sweet wines.. i would get a bottle of dark rum and a can of ice cold coke, and hit the rum with a sip of coke.

Chose quality over quantity every time. You may drink a lot less, but enjoy it more.
