Is there an alcoholic drink that isnt fattening?!

Question: I know beer is fattening but is everything else as well?

Answers: I know beer is fattening but is everything else as well?

yes and potentially much more so than a beer. The lower the alcohol content of what your drinking will for the most part mean lower calories but there are exceptions. Do keep in mind that you may end up drinking much more of the lower alcohol content choice and make out worse, ie 15 bud lights is going to be worse than 6 shots of 100 proof firewater

All liquour has some fat content ( as it is fermented yeast) ; however, sticking with the clear liquors and substituting one glass of water for every glass of alcohol does help. (bonus : it keeps away the hangovers too)

None of the drinks are really fattening, beer has carbon dioxide which fills your body and makes you blot up a bit, as do Coke, Pepsi.....etc.,

There are low carb beers now, but it is not the alcohol that has the calories so much, they are what is know as empty calories, it is the mix, sodas/pop, milksor creams things like water and ice are less caloric.

Wine is less caloric, the low carb and light beers are better, even a shot with diet soda, like gin and diet tonic can cut the calories by 1/2.

All alcohol has a fairly high calorie content; if you have mixed drinks, the calorie count goes up. There's no fat, but that doesn't make it low-calorie.

oh great its u again......
why dont u stop drinking if ur worried about that, or exercise or something

There are 95 calories in 1 oz. of alcohol(whiskey, bourbon, vodka etc) and the equivalent in a 12 oz. glass of beer and 4 oz. of wine. Since beer and wine are not mixers, you basically control your caloric intake. However, when you mix alcohol with soda, fruit juice, sugared mixers, dairy or liquers, the calories pile up and the hangover worst!
So stick to beer or wine, at least you know how much calories you are taking in.
