How many units of alcohol are there in a 13.5% bottle (750ml) of wine?!

Question:

How many units of alcohol are there in a 13.5% bottle (750ml) of wine?

Answers:
10.125

Work out units by multtplying the volume in ml by the alcohol percentage and divide by 1000

i.e. 750x13.5 = 10125
10125/1000 = 10.125

There are 6 standard glasses (of 125ml) in a bottle of wine, thus one glass will be 10.125/6 = 1.69

a can of 9% beer will take you over the recommended limit. I imagine a bottle of wine would be even worse.

a small glass of wine is 1 unit and i think there is about 6 glasses to a bottle..... so i guess about 6 but i might be wrong so dont count on it!

1 pub measure of wine = 1 unit of alcohol. To work out intake and safe levels etc. visit bupa.co.uk/.../asp/healthy_liv...

eleven.

a 750 ml bottle of wine is 5 glasses.
to stay within legal limits an adult may consume 3 servings per hour....food helps...therefore a bottle of wine enjoyed over a couple of hours is A OK!!!

there are 5 units in that bottle

a small glass of wine counts as 1 unit and is 175ml but this is calculated for a bottle of 17.5% alcohol content so with 13.5% you should be ok with about 190ml which means that there is just under 4 units per bottle
