What kind of alcohol gives you the best buzz?!

Question:

What kind of alcohol gives you the best buzz?

I get asian flush horribly bad, so I have to pop Pepcid AC before I drink. And I have to do it on a relatively empty stomach (for the Pepcid to work). This is the only way I can feel good when I drink..stupid curse of Asians..

Anyway, how can I get the best buzz? Should I stay away from sugary alcohol..does that make it worse?

Sometimes when I drink liquor I get blotchy, but I never do with beer. When it comes to the best buzz though that kinda depends on the person you are. When I drink vodka or gin (clear alcohol) I am usually happy and laughing. Whiskey does the exact opposite.

rubbing the cold and tingle does wonders.

Try Vodka, its a very pure and clean liquor. It also may help to keep an eye on what your mixing with.

mmmm tough one, technically there are 8 different types of alcohol but only one of those is the one that we drink (the others blind you or kill you too quickly to be acceptable).

but yeah ultimately a night on the tequila will be different from a night on the Fosters.
Personally i would see the asian flush (sorry, i don't know anything about this condition) as a blessing in that you have a hinderance from spending your hard earned cash on a drug that makes you act like an idiot and takes over your life.

Alcohol is alcohol. Alcohol is a chemical, and it is not sugary...drinks which contain sugar in addition to alcohol are sugary.

Too much sugar will cause you to have a horrible hangover in the morning. I used to drink bud light, but that has way too many calories! I have finally found my drink...its called a VCR...Vodka, Cranberry, & Red bull, its great! I have 2 or 3 and my b/f is carrying me to the truck haha. They are very tasty, give me a happy buzz, tons of energy from the red bull, and you dont have to spend much money or drink a whole lot to get a buzz.

Bacardi is one thing I can feel.

I can drink whisky, bourbon, scotch etc for hours and won't feel it but if I have a few bacardi's (not the pre mixed ones), then I feel a bit of a buzz, but wears off pretty quick.

Try a nice Scotch whiskey.I use to drink Chevas Regal, slow buzz and no hangover....
