How is non alcoholic beer made?!


Question:

How is non alcoholic beer made?

or any non-alcoholic drinks, such as alcohol free champagne, wine etc... this is the follow up to a conversation between a group of us, and we realised we had no clue, but are quite interested!


Answers:
I think, although not 100% sure that they use either reverse osmosis or ultra-filtration to remove the alcohol molecules. This is done simply by pressure behind a semi-permeable membrane, the alcohol molecule being larger than the water one, so leaving the flavour and removing the alcohol.

non-alcoholic drinks do actually contain alcohol, its normally less than 0.5% which is the legal limit to be considered alcohol free.

I'm not sure why, beucase if people enjoy the taste they would probably enjoy the real thing. Maybe the drinkers of these beverages are against alchol for other reasons (diet or reglion). Obviously there is a market for them, but I don't like real beer or "baby" beer. And I don't think I'd pay for fake wine either. Bring on the real stuff if I'm going to really drink it!

They are made just like the normal beer and champagne, but then the alcohol is removed from them. The process is called something like "vacuum distillation".

non alcoholic bevarages r mainly produced from fruit pulp & their extracts.they r produced by fermentation process also
