What's best whiskey that is less strong, smoother, and maybe little sweet?!

Ron - sounds like you're looking for Southern Comfort - and, as a rule, I would reccommend it - however, it is a "liqueur" - which is to say, it should be enjoyed in true moderation - the reason being, it has a great many additives, flavorings, and sugars - an honest invitation to a hangover if you overdo it.
I highly reccommend "R&R" - also known as "Rich and Rare" -"Crown Royal" taste at less than half the price.
Other personal favorites? "Rebel Yell" has a LOT of character - but you will, too, if you know what I mean! Go easy.
All told, a fine sippin' whiskey is what you should acquire a taste for - in that case, "George Dickel" is tops - "Jack Daniels" is a popular choice, but it's "firewater" indeed - mix with homeade lemonade for a real treat that goes down easy.
Okay - last call. What is THE finest whiskey on the planet? (Smooth as silk and 80 proof - but will "buzz" like no other?) "Bushmill's Irish Whisky" - the all-time champ. Expect to pay "Crown Royal" prices (or better) - but, believe me, there is methadone - and there is heroin. Know the difference... Purists would consider shooting you on sight for chasing or mixing it with anything (so would I) - but, for a first timer, I'd keep water on ice or your favorite soda nearby (I prefer Fresca). DON'T POUR IT ON ICE! - it "bruises" the distinct flavor that is uniquely Bushmills.
Still not convinced? Grab a bottle of Seagram's 7 and go - full bodied, great mixer, fair price.

I would suggest Makers Mark, it is a sweeter bourbon.
Southern Comfort is a sweet liquer you might want to try as well...

If you are looking for something lighter and slightly sweet, there 2 whiskies I would suggest: 1 Dewars is a light, well blended Scotch whisky, which runs between $25- $30. Not harsh at all, slight oak & smokey flavor, vanilla sweet on the finish. 2 The Dalwhinnie is one of the lightest, sweeter Scotch whiskies, light amber in colour, pale smoke, hazlenuts and a tinge of sweet at the finish. 100% single malt aged 15 years, one of my favorites, but not cheap at $55.

Irish Whiskey's are on the sweet mellow side. A very good one to start with is: Paddy Old Irish Whisky

Stay away from Southern Comfort unless you want a hangover. Listen to liorio1 and go for a light Scotch. And you get what you pay for.
