Answers: no. vitamins don't absorb into your body without a food to help it absorb. and you would become very sick.

Naw . . . where's your protein, fat, fiber? We need more than that, but those 3 are vital for good health, even if you get all you vitamins from pills.

And what about minerals? Iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, etc?

It's a nice fantasy, tho . . . :o)

Permanently? No. Though beer has many of you readily vitamins in it you wouldn't get enough to sustain you. You would last much longer than on just water alone, but not for a life time. If it were a survival situation you could sustain yourself for months, but not years.

Ryehawk:

Beer has all the mineral.

beer and pub food thats all ya need

Depends on the beer! but you definitely could for at least a couple of months:
"to fulfil all of your daily nutritional requirements you would need to drink a glass of orange juice, two glasses of milk, and 47 pints of Guinness."
sounds like a good day
