What is the best substitute (or cheaper substitute) of grand marnier for a b-52?!

Question:

What is the best substitute (or cheaper substitute) of grand marnier for a b-52?

Answers:
Depending on where your located there is a brand made by DeKyper called orange and brandy, in Canada were I live as a chef I found a inexpensive substitute her by the same name.

You also can make a home version buy adding a number of orange peelsand a small amount of sugar syrup or corn syrup to a bottle of brandy, just pack the orange peels in a jar add the syrups, and then add the brandy, 2 weeks will produce a favourable product.

Grand Mainer is a mix of fine Cognac, herbs and tangiers orange peels, it is a process called maceration, the mixture is then filtered to extract the other ingredients.

not sure, sorry

Triple Sec usually works well as a substitute for Grand Marnier. Both are orange Liquers. Triple sec is just a little cheaper.

The Canadian product David H refers to is also labelled (more cheaply) as Meaghers (same product from same distilleries) and it is indeed the best cheap Grand Marnier and Cointreau substitute I have come across.
