This is the old German Fragen (question) to find out if you are a pessimist or an optimist. I always say half full oder halb voll but the pessimist says gloomily: "halb leer..." or half empty. Enjoy! Look on the positive side of everything! {:-)
Who cares as long as it's refreshing.
If there is another bottle of fine wine waiting to be opened it is half empty and therefore time to get round to opening the next one.
If it is the only bottle of fine wine there is to hand then it is still half full and should be savoured.
