For those who know Wine Prices?!
My uncle bought a Spanish Gran Reserva wine that was aged a minimum of two years in oak barrels in 1991 since then it has then been in a bottle up until today.
My uncle bought it in 2001, I was also wondering what the price he got it was, he said around $100, is that a decent price?
Also since it is about 16 years old, what would be the price on this wine today?
it specifically it says
Rioja
Vina Pomal
Gran Reserva
Bodegas Bilbainas- Haro Rioja Alta Espana
At the bottom in big letters it says Cosecha 1991
It is 75 cl e (weight)

According to Wine Spectator, that wine has gone past it's prime and is now 78 points. Of course, Wine Spectator is not the say all, but it can often give you a feel for the market and the wine.
I can't find this wine on Winezap, Wine-searcher, or Sokolin. Older bottles (like 1955) are only worth a few hundred dollars. The release price for this wine was only $28.
I found a spanish website that has it listed for 20 Euro.

It is worth the amount someone would pay for it, try Ebay with a beginning price of $100.
I would say that something like that would be around 150-600, considering that you'd have to find someone who collects Spanish wines and that isnt too common...
