If you are drunk (i.e. have blood alcohol content over intoxicated limit) can you give blood for a transfusion!

Question: ...or does all alcohol content have to be gone from your blood (or at acceptable levels) before it can be given to another person?

No. I just recently read regulations for blood donations. The give specific wait periods after ingestion of certain items (like drugs). There is no time period specified for alcohol, just that the donor may not be intoxicated.
