Anyone know some good brands of gluten free beer?!
Answers: I have celiacs disease and I'm looking for ways to celebrate the new year without over doing it. I know I'm allowed to have wine and distilled liqour but I'm not a big fan of wine, rum, vodka, gin ect. I would like to find a common gluten free beer and where I might be able to purchase it.
I drink Redbridge. Budweiser makes it and so it is available although you have to shop for it. It is made from sorghum and was developed working with a celiac group. You can go to www.redbridge.com and there is a place to put in a zip code to find out where it is locally for you. It had been about 3 years since I had a regular beer and found that it was pretty good.
i don`t now of any beer that is made without grain..if i was you i`d just stick with wine..
The only two I've had are Ramapo Valley's and Anheuser-Busch's Redbridge neither of which were particularly great, but here's a list I found of others...

Redbridge is most likely going to be the easiest to find though.
New Gris. It's made from sorghum and is NOT good.
Redbridge is a common GF beer found in most liquor stores.
Otherwise you'd have to have gotten it online by now! :)
For the future, try online by googlign "gluten free beer" and search stores like Whole FOods or Wild Oats or Trader Joes
