Yahoo would its an American concern ,the word in england means cigarette and the longer version of it is a meatball here, I am lucky my daughter runs th pub so i go to her living area for one and take my drink along ....... At a country pub one day I met a nice lady smoking outside and she said I have met lots of new people since the smoking ban. But by the far funniest thing Darts matches go on for hours now ,because the players have to keep going for ciggie breaks Smoking is not for the weak its for the addicted

quit smoking!!

hey i needa smoke, who's with me? and out we go to smoke

bum one

i tell them i'm going into "the sky viewing area" and i either take my drink with me or my friends look after it!!!

I don't smoke so I just sit there and get my drink on.

go to the outside smoking area.
I (being the only smoker in a group of non-smoking friends) often frequent these areas alone and take my drink with me! I have made many new friends this way-smokers are such a sociable bunch!!

Light up - my local still allows smoking... but dont tell anyone!

Assuming that the bar doesn't allow smoking, you excuse yourself from the table, put a napkin over your drink, and you head to a place outside where they allow smoking.

In CA, this can be right outside the door.

In WA, you have to be 25 feet from public entrances.

If your bar allows smoking, then you should ask if anyone minds if you smoke. If someone does, then you should proceed outside.

Look for someone smoking and ask them if I can bum one. I take my drink with me and tell my friends I'm going to go bum a smoke.

"Watch ma drink, ahm away oot for a f a g!!"

In my local I can leave my drink on the table, nobody will touch it, but anywhere else I leave it with someone who isn't going out for a f a g. I only smoke when I'm drinking, and so do my friends!

(Yahoo censors the word f a g!!)

depends.. what are we smoking here? =D

i dont go to bars
i dont drink
i gave up smoking

i dont have this kind of problems

edit: thumb down whatever you want, i am proud of it being a non alcoholic non smoker

I havent had one in ten weeks. After reading this I would really enjoy a Camel light.
I would take my drink with me outside. If not finish it an dleave th glass on the bar. Tell your friends your going out for a smoke, They'll smell it on you anyways.

Stay where you are and take a pinch of snuff. It will cause a few raised eyebrows but it will give you a good nicotine buzz and it is legal. There are no passive smoking issues and it smells much nicer than second hand fags.
There are some nice snuff boxes about and I think it could be quite trendy.
Might start selling the stuff.

I quit in June

you do not leave your drink unattended..
bar keep or bar maid may dump it thinking your leaving..
Take it with you.
but be careful there are places in California where your human rights have been raped ,, past a common courtesy.
as for the other people
Thumb your nose..

I would just go out to the smoking area, and take my drink with me. I would just say I was going outside for a smoke.

I do not smoke, but my advise is if you have not been smoking long, stop now while you still can! Not only will it save you from a life full of coughing and hacking, but think of all the money you'll save! Happy New Year :)

You need to quit. It is not socially acceptable anymore. You need to walk 15 feet away from the building entrance in Il. to smoke starting tonight. New Law.

Smoking is for the weak!

I don't smoke but some of my friends do and when they want to smoke we all out to the smoking area outside wheres theres benches and outside heaters...... Best to stick together we think :)
