I like it with ginger ale or lemonade. Never soda - too bitter.

Gin on the rocks. The different quality brands taste different.

Gin & Tonic is the way to go (with a slice of lime).

Martini, but if you've never had them, you won't like your first.
Taste has to be developed. Tankeray and Boodles are the best, with dry Vermouth.
Gin and tonic.
No food with those. Afterwards.

My husband always has his gin with tonic water and a twist of lime. Personally, I think it smells and tastes nasty, so I won't touch the stuff. My brother and sister have said that the best brand is Blue Sapphire... or any in the Sapphire line. I'll take their word for it, and stick with my wine and vodka drinks. lol

You can eat just about anything you want with gin. It would be the same kinds of things you have with vodka. Try cheeses and meat logs and other lunch meat varieties.

Salut!

Tonic, ice and a slice of lime...and remember "He who dares..gins"

Gin and Tonic is the classic gin drink (along with the original martini). I'm going to have to go against the recommendation to use bombay saphire or any saphire gin, it's a completely different flavor than regular gin, I'd stick to bombay's regular or my preferred tanqueray. Gin and tonics are light and very refreshing, very big summertime drink but fine any time of year, if purposely pairing to a meal i'd go white meat and sauce, chicken or fish...

Gin and white Vermouth, Known as a Martini....

Do get a quality gin, if you are going to drink it. I like Beefeater's, and Tanqueray, myself.

good luck

Gin and tonic, gin and bitter lemon - I like Plymouth Gin.

It's an aperitif to drink before a meal, perhaps with a few olives as it is sharp enough to balance something oily. Then wine or beer with the food.

Gin Martini with Tanqueray #10

Gin and tonic with a slice of lime
