Question: last night for New Year's?

Answers: last night for New Year's?

Same thing that I drink everyday, Kamikazes and much beer....

sparkling white grape juice

ice tea

Heineken from a kegerator.

wine. =)

grape juice red

I started with beer, then had some jager bombs then a bottle of champagne

Sparkling apple cider for me

We went out for New Year's Eve Eve, and stayed home snacking and playing a board game last night, so we nibbled and sipped for hours.

We started off with a Bloody Mary made with Sting Ray mix (from Blue Crab Bay) - this was with the cheese, crackers, olives and pickles...

Then we moved on to a bottle of Pearmund Cellars Riesling 2006 (our last one and they're sold out until new release of the 2007 in May) - this was with the shrimp and cocktail sauce and lasted through the spring rolls...

Then we went to a Chilean Chardonnay (Los Vascos) with the tortillas and three types of dip (one was spinach and artichoke, so I wish we'd had a Gruner Veltliner instead... but alas... none in the fridge....)

Then from there we went to Horton Sparkling Viognier (made by Methode Champenoise - but from Virginia grapes in Virginia - not champagne grapes in Champagne region of France) and with that we toasted the New Year and ate Red Velvet cake and mixed nuts.

I beat my husband at Simpson's Battle of the Sexes and saw poor (still lovely) Dick Clark during the ball drop in Times Square on TV so it was all good...

i was drinkin that sparklin cider
