What would be the best wine to pair with a PB&J sandwhich?!

Question:

What would be the best wine to pair with a PB&J sandwhich?

I just wondered if anyone maybe had some good ideas on optimal pairing of a wine and peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, make that a sandwhich with grape jelly. It's always something I wanted to know.

Answers:

A nice white grape juice would be delightful.

Mad Dog? Boone's Farm?

Red. Most definitely the red. Perhaps a robust and aromatic Sauvignon ?

LOL... hmmm... peanut butter and jelly, huh??? Boone's Farm seems fitting, lol :)

Yellow tail Shiraz

Gerwurtztremeiner (I think I may have spelled that wrong!). It is light and fruity and goes well with anything peanutty.

i'm gonna send you over to this site:

it has people who know much more about wine than i do.

but i'm going to go along with one of their suggestion's and go with Trader Joe's 2 buck chuck

Boones Farm

Strawberry Hill

MD 20/20

Might try some plain old concord grape

I'd suggest one of the boxed varities

Definitely one from a box.

Forget the wine. With a pb&j try mixing some coconut rum with 99 bananas (the liquor, not really that many naners) and whatever your favorite juice is. I would suggest orange/peach/mango or something similar.

Add a side of spicy pork rinds and you are in heaven..

If you're serious, try this:

For white- Riesling (Sweet not dry, complements the PB)
For red- Red Zinfandel (Off dry, has a "jammy" flavor)

Hope this works, otherwise drink a glass of milk. I would!

Jarhead Red.

And maybe afterwards, we can smoke a bong of Froot Loops.
