Question:

How long can coffee be safetly left out once brewed?

Answers:
If you mean with no milk or sugar, it's ok to drink at least up to 24 hours later (I've often done it, though it doesn't taste great). But preferable, if you really want to only brew some once in a while is to make a big pot, then take it off the heat to cool a bit, bottle it, and toss it in the fridge. Then you can reheat a cup in the microwave when you want, or drink it cold.

about 30 mins

Depends on what you mean by left out. After 24 or so hours cold coffee that was brewed usually begins to go moldy. If you have creme and sugar in it then after about 24 hours it tends to get sour(not sure that is right term spoiled). Whatever you do don't leave it on the heat that long it will get old tasting after 2 or 3 hours.

You can leave coffe out all day, just make sure the pot is shut off.

a very short time about 20 minutes. it is not adviseable even to reheat coffee - the taste changes and it is difficult to sweeten it with sugar without that bitter aftertaste.

around 30 mins, then it starts to go bitter and not very nice tasting :P
