If someone were to drink a bottle, or even half a bottle of Malibu Rum, how many Heineken's is that equal to ?
( or just beer in general ... is a bottle of Malibu equal to drinking a case of beer ? )

What size bottle? A quart would be equal to about 26 beer, if I remember correctly.

Well Rum is usually around 80 proof or somewhere around there and beer is like 5% Alcohol by volume. One shot of hard liquiour of any kind is generally equal to one beer. It would knock you on the floor if you drank a whole bottle of rum.
well im a 17 yr old who drinks both reguarly (my parents are fine with this) and id have to say that a full large bottle of malibu, for me, is the equivlent to 5 pints of magners or a large bottle of buckfast
Well, liquor has a different effect on the body as beer, although both contain alcohol and both will get you drunk if you drink enough, a bottle of Malibu Rum is filled with sugars and flavors, and a case of beer has a lot of calories, empty ones, so they both equal fat stomachs. Go to the gym.

rum is about 10 times as strong as beer. Beer is around 4% alcohol by volume wherear rum is about 40% alcohol by volume

well, malibu is 21% alcohol and beer is 5%. So I guess you would have to drink a little more than 4 12 oz cans of beer to equal 12 oz of malibu. right?

this is a simple math problem and if you can not figure it out then you don't have enough brain cells to waste on drinking alcohol.
well malibu rum is about 24.0%
and the amount of a regular beer is in between 4.6% and 7.0%.
just divide the percentage of alcohol in malibu rum by the percentage of alcohol in the beer.
I would need to know the size of the bottles of each.
