Lambert and Butler are getting on for Five Quid a pack. Do as I have done - go to the Doctor and get on a course of patches to give up. Normally ￡15 a time but you get them for free. OK needs a bit of will power but has helped me give up - now spending almost seven quid on prescriptions for illnesses that I'm sure I didn't have when I used to smoke. But I will not have it any other way - am looking forward to July 1st when no smoking in public places in UK.!!

It's real expensive ￡4.75, in smaller retails of Wales, it can go upto ￡4.95 in places like Birmingham or Leeds.
oh wait a minute here.....have we scots been getting ripped off all these years? 20 L+B are ￡5.00 where i am and you struggle to get them for ￡4.90 elsewhere. damn budget...
Most decent fags in the UK are about a fiver. Ridiculous price but nanny tells us we can't smoke. US nanny also tells us we can't say ***!
