Do you add a wedge of lime or lemon to your sol/corona and why and for those who don't add anything why not!

Question: Typically Lime is used when drinking Corona. Most people believe that it enhances the flavor of the beer. Though it is said that the lime added to the beer originated in Mexico to keep flies away from the beer and possibly clean the rim.
Hope that helps!!

I think it just adds to the flavor.

I do. I also add salt. It enhances the flavor of the beer. I like it.

I don't add, as it deflects from the true taste of the beer!

Lime! it just gives it some more flavor!

It gets rid of the skunky flavor made by the clear bottles (instead of brown bottles) of Corona. :) No, seriously, lemon tastes really good in a hefeweizen, too.

i do sometimes when i am in the mood. it adds a little flavor...sometimes i dont want it with lime tho and just drink it without

corona sucks... people just do it cuz other people do it... "its the way to drink a corona".... lame.

I like a lime wedge and some salt in the bottle....just adds some goooooood flavor. But not a Corona - they give me an instant headache.

If the brewer wanted a lemon taste in his beer, he would've added it at the brewery.

The reason why people started putting lemon slices in the top of Corona bottles is to keep the flies out.

yeah i do. think its got somethin to do with it bein a mexican beer. some of them have tequila mixed in with the beer eg desparados. it tastes better. although i wouldnt dream of it with any other beers
