Light drink?!

Question:

Light drink?

What is the best drink to order at an outing with your co-workers and boss? I am not a regular drinker, so when I say light, I mean light and I don't like to taste the alcohol too much either.

Answers:
how about a water.

I would get yourself a light beer - very refreshing and fine to drink at a casual outing... If you would rather do a light liquor drink, get something like lemonade and vodka, or cranberry and vodka. Usually you will get a lot of ice with these drinks which will cut down on the alcohol - even ask for lots of ice! There's nothing wrong with NOT drinking at the outing either - you can ask for a club soda with a lime if you would prefer...

Club soda and lime, white wine

I would go with a malibu rum and pineapple juice (malibu and pineapple) or a amaretto sour. Neither taste much like alcohol and don't contain too much alcohol.

a zima or glass of wine is very light but if you don't like the taste of alcohol have something w/o alcohol.

Simply ask for a virgin Bloody Mary or a virgin whiskey sour or a virgin Margarita

You do not need to order an alcoholic drink to fit in. However, if you feel you must or if you want to, then an amaretto sour or a white wine is a safe choice. Whatever you order, also order a plain water with it. Nurse the alcoholic drink. Drink the water if you are thirsty.

I suggest an Amaretto Sour. Amaretto has sort of an almond taste, and it is mixed usually with a sour mix or some sort of soda. It does not taste like alcohol though, I think it tastes like soda...a really tasty soda too! I had a hard time finding a drink to order because I hated the taste of alcohol, but once I tried this I was hooked! Good Luck!
