Dallas bartenders school?!

Question: What is the best bartending school in Dallas? How much can I expect to spend on school? Is this really necessary (I've never worked as a server or anything)? It seems like school is about 40 hours (a few hours daily for 2 weeks), is this typical?

I went to the Premium Institute of Bartending and it was great. I learned what I needed to and got a job right after I graduated. It was more than owrth it.
