Can teens drink with parents in wisconsin bars?!

Question: technically an adult can buy a drink and serve it to their child. However most taverns will not allow this they are afraid of loosing their license and getting fined. If you are in hicksville somewhere you might get away with it but not in the big cities.

So far as I know that is not allowed in the U.S.
In some states it may be allowed at home though.

no, legal drinking age is 21

No they could be arrested on the spot for supplying alchohol to minors sorry.

Come ON ...!!
It is Federal LAW
like the whole USA

The law covers a range of activities related to the possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages by people under the legal drinking age (21 years old).

It is illegal for persons under the legal drinking age to:

1. Purchase, procure, or attempt to procure, alcoholic beverages;
2. Possess or consume intoxicating liquor (including wine), except when accompanied by parent, guardian, or spouse who has attained legal drinking age;
3. Enter or be on a premises which has a license or permit to sell alcoholic beverages,
1. except if an underage person is an employee, resident, or boarder on the premises,
2. except if entering a Class A* License retail intoxicating liquor premises to purchase edibles,
3. except hotels, drug and grocery stores, bowling alleys, stadiums, restaurants, etc.
4. except Class B** License liquor premises if for an auction or marching and drilling, but not in the room where alcoholic beverages are sold or furnished.
5. except if the person is at least 18 and is contracted to entertain;
6. except on a premises when no alcoholic beverages are being sold or given away and the owner has notified law enforcement when underage persons will be allowed.
4. Obtain an I.D. card with inaccurate information;
5. Misrepresent his or her age for obtaining alcohol;
6. Carry false identification; or
7. Obtain an alcoholic beverage license or permit.

sue, that article was suggesting a new law, Wisconsin currently allows parents to serve thier own children, as do most states (but not all):

"Two-thirds of states in the U.S. permit people under the age of 21 to drink alcohol under certain conditions, such as under the supervision of their parents or guardians.

Nation-wide research in both the U.S. and England has demonstrated that teens who drink with their parents are less likely to experience alcohol-related problems."

Additional link below shows the WI state laws that says parents may buy thier children alcohol at bars, at the descretion of the bar.

NO

actually I just took my bartending class and it is not against the law for a minor to drink in a bar with his parent. It is however the bartenders right to refuse to sell to the minor. a bartender can give the beer to the parent and they can give the booze to the kid. But no it is not illegal
