Its because you are dehydrated. Drink lots of water before you go to sleep and it should help a considerable amount in the AM.

Personally, I don't get them. But, I don't drink all that much these days anyhow.

Dehydration and elevated blood pressure

It is mostly the result of serious dehydration as well as toxicity. Alcohol is a toxin, a poison, and the body's organs have to work very hard to eliminate it from the bloodstream once it's ingested. The body uses it's water reserves to eliminate the toxins and you get sick.

Dehydration is a major cause. So is impurities in the alcohol.

One byproduct of alcohol digestion is Acetaldehyde that collects in the brain and causes one hell of a head ache.

I find it has a lot to do with the preservatives in the alcohol. For instance, fresh brewed (homebrew) beer doesn't give me a hangover no matter how much I drink. Different states also has different levels of alcohol by volume in beer, wine, etc. The less alcohol, the more preservatives, so the more pure the alcohol, less likelihood of hangover. (Something 25 years of drinking has taught me.)

you drink too much

b/c god hates you!!

or b/c your dehydrated...

pretty sure its one of those 2!!!
