What wine would you serve with egg rolls?!

Question: Specifically, pork egg rolls...

Answers: Specifically, pork egg rolls...

White wine for chicken eggrolls, red wine for beef egg rolls, merlot for pork egg rolls.Merlot creates a well balanced flavor between the roll itself and cleanses the palate in between bites.

Honestly, I would serve a nice cold Tsing tao beer (and I am a wine drinker more than a beer drinker). I just feel that most Chinese foods lend themselves to beer moreso than wine

saki

Either Sake or Zinfandel.

Moscato. It goes with everything, I have found. Very versatile wine

not wine my friend, modelo, but I guess saki would match the culture of the food...

Dry French White.

i would definately echo the Beer recommendation above. Asian food is very difficult to pair with wine. Napa Valley had an asian fusion restuarant for a few years, and nobody went to it because they couldn't figure out how to approach the whole wine pairing thing. nothin really went. I would say best bets would be things like Beer (sapporo, tsing tao), sake, or depending on the spice level of the sauce or the egg roll try also a riesling or gewurztraminer.

Riesling or Gewurztraminer (sp?)

Fruit will offset the Asian spice.

Sake, Soju, or japanese Plum Wine
