Why do people hold you responsible for bad behavior when you're drunk & not aware of what's going on?!
Answers: I know it's pretty dangerous & harmful, but why don't they give you a break for something minor like yelling? I can see something major like a car accident & drunk driving.
Sometimes you do need to know your behavior when you are drunk as you will know how you are probably going to act again. I do not see holding it against you though if no one was hurt and it was not serious. Sometimes, people will use it against you as an excuse to be mad at you and take their own frustrations out on you and blame you for things that really have nothing to do with you. I think if you drink with people who are so "great and mighty" that they cannot excuse simple drunken behavior that is harmless, then I say you need to find friends who you can drink and have fun with . It sounds like your group is quite judgemental...like they have never made a mistake or had their own drunken moments...sheesh....
If someone chooses to drink, knowing it results in bad behavior, then she is responsible for both the choice and the behavior. Being drunk doesn't "change" you. It just lowers your inhibitions so that your true self emerges. And btw, yelling isn't harmless. Report It
