It is any alcholic drink made without alcohol for the tea toadlers and children.

The shirley temple is non-alcoholic. It's made with ginger ale, grenadine (a pomegranate syrup), a bit of orange juice.

ginger ale or lemon-lime

Grenadine

most of the recipes I looked up don't say anything about the alcohol that is used. It's mainly a non-alcoholic drink. But you can play around with it and put whatever you want. That's part of the fun of doing it yourself.

Shirley Temple is a non alcoholic cherry flavored soda. The people who told you to put alcohol in it are wrong. sprite or 7up, add grenadine and a maraschino cherry on top. dont mix before serving.

ginger ale, grenadine syrup, and orange juice

A shirly temple is usually a non-alcoholic drink that consists of ginger ale or lemon lime soda with some grenadine (pomegranate or cherry syrup). Usually you put a cherry in the drink for decor.

The Shirly Temple was named after a young girl named...Shirly Temple. She starred in many movies. She lived from 1932–1961 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Another name you may know is Shirly Temple Black. There is a nother common drink named from this name called a "Roy Roger". To make this drink simply replace the Ginger Ale/Lemon Lime soda with cola.

Gengerale and surrup

To my surprise, there are several variations.

It’s very unusual to see a traditional Shirley Temple today. The original recipe called for two parts ginger ale, one part orange juice and about a teaspoon to tablespoon of grenadine. It was usually garnished with a cherry and possibly an orange slice. While the cherry remains, and is many children’s favorite part about the Shirley Temple, most modern versions of the drink don’t include orange juice.
