How do i use an upright keg extraction system for cask ales?

you can use a syphon system where the barrels stand up. you insert a shank to tap and vent then insert a rod into that which pulls the beer up - the advantage for this is you can pull more beer out of the barel and it saves room in the cellar. but you can not use a keg system on cask as it is pressurised
stop being tight and buy a self tilter, cuts down on loss and VERY easy to set up and use
