Yes it gives a different aspect of the aromas and hoppiness of the beer. I like to lick it a bit before I drink the beer. (if I am having one at home, that is, it would look a bit suggestive in a pub.)
Its nice but not after about the eighth pint but by then......

I dont like to drink the head but if its not there the beer is probably flat, just stick your finger in it and itll go away.

absolutely, it is a good indication on the quality of beer you have, and whether it was poured correctly or not.

No;and a pint is supposed to be-ha ha-95% liquid according to UK law.Most German lagers and beers are better with a thick collar of foam,to preserve any inherent carbonation,and condition whilst drinking.
Not at all mate! I hate it too, 'cos the froff costs money. If I ever get more than about an aitf of a ninch I look at it till the barman/maid fills it.
If he/she doesn't I just walk away...
