How does Icelandic vodka - Reyka - differ from other vodkas?!

Question: I know it's made in Iceland, they say it is "lava filtered"... How does it rate to other highly rated vodkas? Should I expect a big hangover after a big night?

Vodka is essentially a pure distilled spirit. The only difference is the distillation method that varies from distillery to distillery. But, in my opinion, and bear in mind that I am not a vodka connoisseur, once you mix it with something, it's all the same to me.

No worries mate it is all juice! the name dictates the price.

No headaches from clear stuff, plenty from dark red wine etc.

All the bullshit on the label means nothing if you know what you are doing you can make your own at little or no cost. A liebigs condenser, found in most school labs and a bit of research on the web and hey presto.

I've never tasted it, but I've been told it's pretty good. You should try Black Death. It comes in a little coffin.

i think they are all the same to be honest
