no its not a good idea, for my wedding we had sparkling grape juice for the kids, and it comes in a nice looking wedding design just about any supermarket sells it and the hall will tell you about the legalities. good luck

No way.. young ppl are so annoying when they are drunk or buzzing.. for your guests sake, dont do it.

serve them apple cider instead.
still deliciously fizzy =)

No, not a good idea at all.

no. give her sparkling cyder.. it's much better tasting anyway. i dont believe a 14 year old will like champagne anyway

i think your fine

no. its time for you parent-up and make it do what it do

I dont know either sweetie, I am in the united states, i would say, yes, with your parents permission

i don't really see it as that big of a problem. it's your wedding! you should celebrate it with everyone. it's the happiest day of your life, and i seriously doubt if a little champange will hurt your sisters.

i dont know what the drinking age in astralia but i think you should get apple cider or something like that, it taste good, n its bubbly!

I would guess its not legal. Why don't you get some Martinellis sparkling apple cider for the younger group. It looks just like champagne. Plus they may will probably not like the taste of champagne.

no its not a god idea, even if its family, why dont you buy them pretend bubblyinstead, they will thank you later.

I dont know the rules in AUS, but i think since its a special occasion, that should be your decision, but their parents should really need to approve before anything. So i suggest asking your parents.

It's fine. In my family (in the U.S.) I've been given wine at special occasions since I was a little girl as all the children in my family were, and none of us are alcoholics. In fact, we hardly ever even drink.

If you're supplying the champagne it's considered a private event and they can have it. When you make alcohol a "forbidden fruit" it becomes more appealing and creates alcoholics.

well i dont know if your asking if its legal or morally right but if you ask me i think its ok to give them a glass or two there not going to get wasted off of it and its a celebration so its all in good fun

well if you want to get technical it would be a definite no since laws are what they are, but as long as it is handled in a responsible manner and no underage kids are being served excess, the law would turn a blind eye to this. i dont think you have anything to worry about. your wedding is not going to be raided by dea for this matter and as long as the parents have no problem then go for it. if you are that worried, just serve them sparkling grape juice.

I would check with the rented halls polices. Legally no you cannot they're not 21. But when I was 16 I was able to have a cup or 2 of champagne at my cousins wedding. When I got married we we're told specifically by the rented hall that no one under 21 was allowed to have alcohol. We ended up just serving sparkling cider to everyone instead of alcohol!

edit: I didn't realize you were in Australia. I think the legal age is 19 there isn't it? Still I believe they're more laid back there than the US anyway. But it's your wedding and I don't think anyone will complain as long as it's not in excess. Check with your mom to make sure she's alright with it.

No - get something like Schloer or any other fizzy Grape juice and try pass it off as champers ... they won't know and you will have a clear mind that there is 0% in the soft drink.

It is irresponsible to promote drinking at this age - not for them, but if they were under the influence what could happen to them, i.e. a fall / taken advantage of in any way / inapropriate behaviour.

Enjoy the wedding !

Ask those who you are renting the hall from.
