Answers:
Corona, Dos Equis, Tecate, Pacifico, Sol, etc... they all taste the same to me. If you hope to see the bottom of the bottle, you'll need to cover it up with a lime. Negra Modelo is where it's at. It's a little darker (a Vienna Lager in style) and has a complex, yet still refreshing flavor. The sad part about this beer is that nobody who sells it seems to ever have anything to serve it in that isn't made of styrofoam.

If you're looking for something light and refreshing (like many Mexican beer fans will claim their swill is), I would also recommend Lagunitas Pils, Sierra Nevada Summerfest, Alaskan Summer Ale, or Butte Creek Organic Pilsner, just to name a few off the top of my head. You can get some help here:

EDIT:
They also did a write up on Mexican beer a while back:

I only really like pacifco or corona and i like them alright. I guess I'm not really a beer drinker but mexican beer reminds me of home

I have always disliked beer. I tried Bohemia, a Mexican beer. It has no after taste, not bitter and I don't get bloated. I also can drink it with food which I can not do with many or all other beers.

If Dos Equis and Corona count, then no I don't like them. They have a weird salty taste to me.

corona is damn good

**** yea dude, corona is the SHIZ

I like Dos Equis alright, though I agree that it tastes kind of salty. The amber is better than the green bottle one. I really really disliked Tecate. It had a weird grassy taste to me and I had to give it to someone else. I tried Sol, but it didn't leave much of a mark. I remember it being quite light. Corona is okay.

Corona with lime, It's different.
