Most energy drinks advise the consumer right on the label "DO NOT MIX WITH ALCOHOL", yet drinks like Spider Bites and Red Bull with vodka are some of the most popular drinks in clubs and bars right now. Some people claim mixing energy drinks "get you messed up faster", but what really makes you feel drunk faster is all the sugar of most energy/sports drinks. Sugar carries the alcohol to your bloodstream faster, but doesn't necessarily get you "more drunk".
I say that if the product's manufacturers say that it's not safe to mix, DON'T MIX! They probably know what they're talking about.
