Is my drink an original?!

Question:

Is my drink an original?

My husband recently brought home a bottle of vodka (a customer of his said in his thick Russian accent: "You fix my car, I give you good Russian Vodka!", lol, and indeed gave him the vodka when his car was fixed!). Not being big vodka drinkers, I came up with a drink that we really liked:

Club soda
Vodka
A couple spoonfuls of frozen lemonade concentrate
Fresh lime
Ice

I'm naming it "Russian Lemonade" since I made it with Russian vodka, and we also live on the Russian River in California! I've had a Lynchburg lemonade, but not one with vodka. What do you think?

Answers:
Not original, but good. There are many drinks which are the same, or similar. The name is original, and that's okay too! You can call it your own because of that.

www.webtender.com allows you to put in all the ingredients you have, and gives you combinations of drinks you can make with them, you can even submit your own.

Sorry...but that is so not original..I have tried the same drink with gin, rum and tequila!

P.S. Forgot to tell: you can also add the lime zest to it.....that would be even yummier!

It's almost like a Kamikaze but not quite. Sounds good to me.

Oprah's chef made something like this on her show a couple of years ago.

Its not original, but it sure sounds delicious!!

Sort of - It is the same as a "vodka sour with a splash of soda" But, you made it your own and gave it a name and a lime. I am going to go make one now, I also have a bottle of Russian Vodka. It is in the freezer getting really chilled.

SOUNDS GOOD..I THINK I'LL MAKE MESELF ONE OF THOSE WHEN I GET HOME FROM WORK..

Kind of Sounds like a Lime Rickey
Try it with Roses Lime Juice instead of THe Lemonade concentrate.

Not original, but I would drink it for sure!

sounds like a Vodka Collins to me.

Net

not really original. Koreans drink something similar call lemon Soju. We mix Lemon juice, sprite and Soju. Soju is similar in taste to vodka just not as strong. Sounds like essentially the same drink.

it's your own originality! Cheers!
