Whats the difference between beer and largar?!
Answers: aha i dont know how to spell it lol
Most of the answers you have been given are wrong. Lager is a type of beer. There are many types though. Some of which include lager, ale, porter, stout and pilsner. The differences are how the beer is made, either the ingredient list or the way it is fermented and or filtered.
Made differently, Different yeasts. One ferments on the top, the other on the bottom. I personally find lager rather insipid. Prefer bitter or real ale.
"Beer" is the generic term. "Lager" is a type of beer.
Beer has flavour and Lager doesn't.
Different ingredients and brewing methods.
Beer is also ale, but many ppeople think that larger is also beer, true in one aspect though.
Ales and lagers use different yeasts and are brewed at different temperatures. Lager is type of beer.
A Lager is a type of beer. Beer can be tough of in two categories, lagers and ales. Lagers are fermented at colder temperatures and use bottom fermenting yeast. Brewers yeast eats the sugar in the fermenting beer and converts it to alcohol. The yeast in fermenting lagers reside at the bottom of the brew as it ferments.
Ales use a top fermenting yeast and is fermented closer to room temperatures. Ales tend to be more on the heartier side than lagers. Lagers tend to have a more clean, crisp tatse.
lager is full of harsh harmful chemical tennents bud r lagers beers are healthier and full of natural vitamins and iron like guniness
Beer an alcoholic beverage made from malted grain (as barley), flavoured with hops, and brewed by slow fermentation.
Ale a beer other than lager, stout, or porter.
Lager a beer brewed for keeping, from Lager ‘storehouse’
Stout a kind of strong, dark beer brewed with roasted malted barley
Essentially, beer is brewed using a"top fermenting" yeast.
Lager is brewed with a "bottom fermenting yeast".Of course this means that the yeats used sinks to the bottom of the vat.
Most of all these methods determine the taste but the clarity of lager results in the increased use of "finings" that filter organic matter from the brew.beer is more heavily carbonated than lager.
Obviously there are many other factors affecting the brewing process, but those are the essential differences.
Beer is real ale, lager is just lager, although the Europeans and the Yanks call lager beer but they don't have real ale, stuff like John Smiths, Belhaven Best, McEwans Export and the likes.
beer is real, larger is not.... although lager is nearly the same as beer
