Any ideas for an interesting mixed drink for the next party I attend?!
Answers: At parties, my friends and I have fun trying to outdo each other with new drink ideas. Does everyone already know about e-tinis - a martini with espresso? Sorry to say, I'm not as good as my friends when it comes to unusual mixed drink ideas. But they seem happy enough just surprising me with their creations. I'd enjoy showing them something they haven't heard of already, for once, though.

Have you ever tried making a simple cosmo and then twisting an orange or lemon peel over a match? If you do it right it creates a little flame. That's not really part of the martini, but its pretty cool looking. Also, do a search for martinis that have unique mixes for rimming the glass. I sometimes Tivo a show on the Fine Living Network called Great Cocktails that have TONS of drinks and variations of drinks that I've never heard of.
Some interesting drink mixes is what your after, here's a few off the top of me head:
Malibu, So/co and OJ
Vodka ,Gin, coke and milk ( yes, milk )
JD, Black Label, grapefruit juice
and a classic from work
Brandy, tomato jucie, tabasco, pepper and sambuca
