Why can you put vodka in the freezer and not rum?


Answers:
Anything over 30% won't freeze in an average freezer. Rum shouldn't either. The rum I have at home (Bacardi 151) has a freezing point below any vodka that I know of. I freeze Vodka because I like Martini's

I've put rum in the freezer. Never had a problem. That's news to me.

I don't think there's anything wrong with putting rum in the freezer. Both vodka and rum usually have an alcohol content of around 40% or 80 proof, so they won't freeze.

Vodka has an extremely high freezing point, rum has a much lower freezing point.

I put my rum in the frezzer al the time and nothing ever happened to it.

For parties I put both in. It's no biggee, they don't freeze.

You can put Rum in the freezer But alot of people put vodka in the freezer because they drink it straight.

Rum does not contain the special some kind of glucose in it and is downgraded if we put it on the freezer whereas Vodka has some kind of glucose whch acts as a barrier against cold which does not let the elements crystallized and if you have noticed a freezed rum is little too short of taste in the freezer.
